Best Match / Matchmaking

The Best Match solution is a great tool for matchmaking buyers with exhibitors and suppliers depending on their preferences. It's a solution that can be used for small and large events.

Setting meeting preferences

Similar to how the diary system works, Best Match enables your visitors and exhibitors or suppliers to select their one-to-one meeting preferences in advance. This is done by first ranking and then ordering the contacts they are in interested in meeting.

Creating appointments

Once this process is complete, EventReference uses a sophisticated algorithm to match the buyers with the exhibitors and suppliers in order of their ranked preference. Appointments are created, giving them a schedule to follow throughout the event. This can be buyer or supplier led, and participants can print off their own diaries, using diary printing stations at the event.

Our American partners MPI, successfully used the Best Match feature to support a number of hosted buyer events across the USA. It worked so well, they implemented it again the following year.
