Registration Options
Event attendees will always be on the lookout for a manned registration desk when they have a query about their registration or their badge. They may have forgotten their e-badge, want to register onsite, or need their badge to be amended. We offer the following solutions:
- A Registration desk which can be manned and supported by RefTech
- Single user equipment provided by us as Equipment Only Dry Hire
Our software is designed to make life easier. Preview screens reduce the need to reprint incorrect badges. Registration desks can also be used for printing CPD certificates.

Why you need a manned desk
Our manned registration desk product is specifically designed for you to quickly and easily:
- Look up by first name, last name or company name
- Register new attendees fast
- Edit records
- Change the badge type
- Fill in demographic information
- Add a photo (webcam needed)
- Confirm that a badge has been printed
For a smooth-running registration area you need at least one manned registration desk.
Equipment only dry hire
You might want to manage the onsite registration activities yourself. If that's the case, we can provide the equipment you need with the software installed and your attendee list ready to use. We deliver the equipment wherever you need it, anywhere in the World.
All you have to do is provide the database either as a spreadsheet or seamlessly using EventReference.
This is a great option when you have a smaller event or a tight event budget but still want professional badges. You'll get training, a detailed user guide and telephone support during office hours.
Think about your badge options
- We can deliver pre-printed badges to you with the equipment
- This means you’re only using the equipment on-site to print replacement badges or for new registrants
- This way, all attendees have badges of the same standard, regardless whether pre-printed or printed on-site
- Post-event you can get attendee reports from EventReference
Want to offer Certificate Printing for CPD credits?
You will find our software invaluable for this as it can be set up in advance to work with blank certificate stock or plain paper.
Registration desks are used for certificate printing. Once delegates have qualified for CPD credits, fewer registration desks are needed. This keeps costs down.
To print a CPD certificate, delegates scan their badge barcode at the CPD printing point. The certificate is automatically printed for verified delegates.
Staff can also be available to assist delegates at the printing point.

Useful for long, foreign or accented names
Customer facing screens ensure the operator has used the correct spelling
Screens can also be used to promote seminars, events programme, sponsor information or any other type of presentation content

As well as providing various print methods for pre-printed badges, we also offer low-cost WebBadging to print badges yourself, attendee print-at-home, and mobile badge printing.
